Networking & Business Development
The Chamber provides numerous opportunities to make
acquaintances that can develop into strong business relationships.
Business After Hours (BAH) provide the
opportunity for members to make connections on a monthly basis with
other members in an informal and fun
setting
for business
development. BAHs give hosts the opportunity to create awareness about
their business and generate business prospects. Hosts provide food,
beverages and prizes. Events are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Thursdays, generally from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. They typically
attract 150 to 200 members and
prospective members. To request information about hosting an event,

Luncheon Programs
Chamber members come together at lunchtime to learn and make
connections. Attendance at the five general membership luncheon programs
a year ranges from 70 to more than 100 persons. Lunch & Learn Workshops
are generally limited to 50 members.
Quick Connect
This unique Chamber program is a direct sales opportunity for members,
giving
participants the opportunity to determine quickly if there is a
fit in meeting
each other’s business or consumer needs. The session is structured with
participants arranged in two groups facing each other. Participants have
90 seconds to present their company’s products or services one-on-one to
at least 10 others. Following each contact, participants indicate the
next follow-up steps. Participation is limited to members. Attendance
ranges from 30 to 40 people. To request information about hosting a

Special Events
A variety of special events offer great networking opportunities and
fun. Golf Outing - Annual golf outing in September provides members with
the perfect opportunity to entertain a client, to reward associates for
t heir contributions to the organization or to continue networking
with other Chamber members. Reds, Whites & Desserts - An elegant evening
of business networking and social exchange, features wines, hors
d’oeuvres, dessert specialties and silent auctions for valuable prize
packages (travel, golf, services) and fancy desserts. The event is held
on the first or second Saturday in May.
Taste of Worthington - A fun, outdoor, food-sampling
festival, held annually on the first or second Friday in July features a
variety of delicious, affordable food from local restaurants and others
in the food business, music and activities for the entire family.
Business Expo
The Chamber collaborates with neighboring suburban Chambers to host
the largest exhibition of businesses in central Ohio. Generally, more
than 100 exhibitors participate, and approximately 400 business people
from the participating chambers attend. By partnering with neighboring
chambers, we help our members increase their business exposure and
business connections beyond the Worthington area.
Committee Involvement
